Food Review : Vietnam Vegan Delicacy in Malaysia

A Vietnamese restaurant actually stands as my ideal venue for a perfect dine. There is something about Vietnamese cuisine that has certainly inspired me to write this piece

This place is called 'Vietnam House' and it really stands up to its name. It is a restaurant in a home concept. Let the pictures speak :

The setting and delicacies certainly fill my soul with contentment. I doubt many out there would share my sentiments here, but these are the types of dishes that I consider luxury.

The restaurant is run by a young Vietnamese girl and she definitely does marvels. She veganised the dishes available instantly upon request and blew my tastebuds to ecstasy.

One of my favourite dishes - boiled vegetables with fermented sauce.No overcooking, excessive masala or oil. Just pure Pranic greens mildly seasoned with herbs, pepper and salt. Dipping em' in the special Vietnamese sauce and drowning them into the alimentary canal is something heavenly.

Ginger fried rice in Vietnamese fashion. Again - simple, no MSG and artificial components. It actually fits the true meaning of fried rice, contrary to the rice flavoured cooking oil many local restaurants serve these days.

Vietnamese coffee.A unique way of having filter coffee. We allow the styled cup to rest as shown above. This filters the coffee to concentration. We add milk to our satisfaction later before caffeinating our viscera.

Fried bean curds. Again, no fancy sizzles,artificial flavourings etc Simple stuff that tastes so good with the Vietnamese sauce

Spring rolls: to be rolled over the tongue before mechanical digestion.

The soothing sound of bells, the scent of mild incense and the ambience in this restaurant itself is a luxury to me. It is something I have not seen in any other outlet in Malaysia.
