Bhogi Ponggal - The Worship of Lord Indra

Though the worship of Lord Indra is on the decline today, we should not discard his significance during the festival of Bhogi.

Śri Mauniś Vyāsa - My ācarya for Vedic Samskṛta Grammar. He is a student of Śri Śarath Candra Bhātt who is a Ṛg Vedi graduate under Dr. Gode Subrahmaṇya Śāstri at Mantrālayam. Śri Śarath Candra Bhātt also studied Yajur Veda at the Kāñci mutt and is an eminent scholar within Śṛṅgēri mutt. Śri Mauniś Vyāsa was personally blessed and initiated by Svāmi Satya Sai Bāba. He has been teaching Vedas for the past 33 years. He has also authored 'Rudra tattva', which gives the word to word breakdown of Rudrapraśna. His website www.saiveda.net provides the script for Vedas, with its tutorials in the most authentic format.
