Nyasa ( lit meaning : to clean ) is a purification ritual done before the commencement of a Vedic Puja,Vedam recitation,Abhisheka or Yaaga.

Śri Mauniś Vyāsa - My ācarya for Vedic Samskṛta Grammar. He is a student of Śri Śarath Candra Bhātt who is a Ṛg Vedi graduate under Dr. Gode Subrahmaṇya Śāstri at Mantrālayam. Śri Śarath Candra Bhātt also studied Yajur Veda at the Kāñci mutt and is an eminent scholar within Śṛṅgēri mutt. Śri Mauniś Vyāsa was personally blessed and initiated by Svāmi Satya Sai Bāba. He has been teaching Vedas for the past 33 years. He has also authored 'Rudra tattva', which gives the word to word breakdown of Rudrapraśna.
